My history with energy blocks
Just to give you an idea as to WHY I'm doing this work, let me first take you back to the 1990s, a small town in central California - the time and environment of my youth. My adolescence and teenage years were riddled with fear and pretty gnarly bouts of depression. There were plenty of good times and happiness, but I secretly lived with a lot of pain. Being an extremely thin-skinned sensitive and intuitive person from birth (which I later learned was partly due to being an Empath), it didn’t work out well for me in schools. I always felt like I was the odd man out. From my early social experiences in the 2nd grade on through high school – there was no protection from troubled peers who bullied me. Even when I fought with a friend or family member, that frustration and pain always seemed to stay with me for a long time. While attempting to navigate through these kinds of challenges, unfortunately, I wasn’t armed with self-care knowledge; however, at a young age, I knew that Life had an important meaning. I knew at a spiritual level that Life is not merely a means to acquire a job, a house, a family, and then a grave – but to truly seek out the specific questions and answers that help point us all toward love, connection, peace, wholeness, and joy!
Growing through "acting" challenges

Early on, I found release and much joy in performing. Acting in plays and musicals in High School, helped me grow and make friends. Then I decided to move to Los Angeles to study acting full time. In L.A., I grew closer to adulthood and I studied acting intensely. I inhaled the Hollywood culture of performers. I worked very hard at being an excellent actor, but something was noticeably not there. I often felt a high level of anxiety, which forced me to perform at 50% of my potential. I fell in and out of depression like riding a roller coaster; sometimes I felt amazing, and other times like I wanted to find an end to my life. After many trials and tribulations through the early 2000s, I came out of that decade wiser, grown up, and ready to conquer my next feat. I became interested in helping others. I wanted to be a helping professional.
Finding the ground

After graduating from U.C., Irvine in 2008 - I moved back to my hometown (Lompoc, CA) to work as a Behavioral Therapist. It was then that I really began to practice "present moment awareness." I focused on my inner world and grounded myself regularly. The challenge of working with special needs children, naturally pointed me to seeking ways of going within. I learned to concentrate on balancing my energy, because I noticed that the various clients I helped often met me with unorganized and/or blocked energy, and I didn't want those forces to influence my energy. During this time, I studied Applied Behavioral Analysis, the Law of Attraction techniques, and the power of present moment awareness - which informed my real life. I started to pick up on what I could change on my own and what I could simply learn to accept. Over the next five years - with advanced competency in Behavioral Psychology and a lot of patience - I worked diligently with teams of clinicians to help children with special needs and their families.
Transforming from the inside-out
In 2010, I decided to move back to the "big city," partially because of the many opportunities I wouldn't have elsewhere. I knew that L.A. would be a challenging home to hang my hat; however, I felt called to be among those who need healing the most. I knew, early on, that there was a purpose to staying in this fast-paced city, where Energy Healing work could be most beneficial. I studied Emotional Freedom Techniques first on my own, then I sought out an organization that teaches it. I found ACEP (the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology). It was with this organization that I began to officially learn Energy Psychology techniques. Then, I began learning Thought Field Therapy from Callahan Techniques (Dr. Roger Callahan's training center). I found a wonderful movement of positive energy coming through many social and professional circles thereafter.
